I just wanted to know which drivers you all ran. Which drivers are the most stable. I run forceware 78.11 with a stock clock.

Latest 81.26 from laptopvideotogo.com

So what if any differences are there using these new non dell drivers? Sometimes the screen saver seems to leave the system out of sync. I wonder if these drivers fix this. I don't really play any games, what is the real difference. Do these drivers come from nvidia?

Basically, the drivers are just nvidia drivers, modified for better performance or to work on a laptop.
You can also try Omega Drivers. -

i heard omega is really for ati cards

Well, it was just a suggestion. Yes, the ATi versions are better...
www.omegadrivers.net. They are also avaliable on www.driverheaven.net. -

I use the latest frivers (81.41) from Laptopvideo2go. I get smooth performance on maximum graphcis from every game I paly, including BF2 and FEAR SP demo.
Whatever you use, DO NOT use the latest dhzer0point drivers (from driveheaven.net). I lost 700 3Dmarks in '05 with them, and performance in several games dropped to subplayable. -
are the 81.41 stable for everything else like regular activity and dvd viewing?
Which xtreme-g drivers do you run with 6800/6800ultra
