    White XPS M1330 Shipped

    My Dell XPS M1330 was shipped today.
    I ordered on AUGUST 1st and my ESD was August 29th.
    On August 29th, I did not get a delay notice email so I called DELL and they told me that my system was going to be delayed until mid September. I did not get any compensation over the phone.
    I emailed the CSR who did my order back on August 1st and he told me that my system was going to be delayed as well until mid-September and he offered a $100 credit to my system.
    Today, I checked my status online and it has my system shipped on August 31st with an ESD of September 4th.

    Good luck to everyone who ordered a XPS M1330 (especially a white one).
    P.s. I am in Toronto.

    congrats to everyone who is seeing some progress with their orders! I ordered July 10th (white, LED), and yesterday I heard for the first time "This order is in the TESTING stage"!!! It was so weird to hear a different message after two months of being in build.

    BUT!!!!! Today I called, you know, just in case, and it said "This order is currently in the BOXING stage!"

    So it went from testing to boxing overnight! I think I might get this computer before Christmas afterall.

    I can't wait to see the white one. I haven't found many pictures on the internet. I think I might get it before the original poster, so I'll put lots of pictures over here to tide you over! I'm so excited!

    Ok... I don't know if I know how to take good pictures or not! What would you define as "good"?

    God knows I'll be taking a zillion pics of that thing and annoying all my friends with them... it's like getting a newborn or something. So just tell me what you want, and i'll post them!

    Well, for one don't forget to make sure the pic is focused, lol. It sounds stupid, but you'd be surprised. Also, try to get some good natural lighting on the lid cuz I want to see the "pearlescent" effect on it :)

    WTF..same story as mine. I got my order in white. Dell sent me delay message and I complaint....got me $100 credit from Dell. Next day the order status changed from production to shipped....email was sent to me. I emailed and asked for a tracking number. Dell has not reply!!! Do not believe what Dell CSR told you....ask for a tracking number or service tag if your order actually shipped.
