I was wondering if they charge more or less for physical dents or scratches or Maybe the user posts what amount seems reasonable to them. Any ideas?

I am having a hard time understanding what you mean. Dell prices their computers, it's not an auction or garage sale. Scratch and Dents are obviously cheaper than previously ordered as new.
-
Umm, it's not a place for people to sell their Dell computers, like ebay or whatnot. It's where Dell sells used computers that are either returned to them or that they aquire.
I'm guessing the same person that sets the prices for normal laptops also does so for the used ones. So unless the CFO for Dell browses these forums and just feels like releasing this information, it's tough for people to know who calls the shots in a major corporation. -
i was just wondering because i got my laptop very cheap and there dosent appear to be any dents or scratches .And i wonder why their arnt more available on dells outlet site that have the same specs at the same price that i paid for.

If people don't return the type of computer you just bought, well there won't be anymore of them... Simple eh -
Also as I might add, the longer a computer stays on the outlet the cheaper it will go.
When I was looking to buy my D620 there were 3 very similar machines and one of them was pretty cheap compared to the others, after placing it in my cart and looking through I took it off my cart and then someonelse did the same thing and after 3 days it was still on the outlet but noticed that the price of the machine went down in price. -

Well you guys that the only way your going to get a machine that is physically blemished or scratched is if you order a SCRATCH & DENT... right?
And even if that, i've gotten scratch and dents that are like... scratches on the DVDRW logo.. can't even see it. -
But you never know where the scratch/dent is right? do they post this info?
