Tell us how you conned Dell and made some moolah! Threatening to return after ordering and getting some discounts or accessories. Falsely claiming you didn't receive a part or accessory and ebaying it later for cool cash. Misusing complete care and accidental damage to get a new notebook. Picking up the notebook left by DHL on front porch and claiming never to have received the notebook. These are some of the stories I came across in this forum. Post your strategy here!

Does it really matter? You can tell your friends or colleagues stories and I can rep you! ;) (I am not responsible if the Admins prevent me from doing so!) ;)

Almost every single thing you mention there is not "conning" Dell, its committing mail, insurance and or wire fraud. Last time I checked, those are felonies. So by all means, let us all know how you have "conned" Dell.

Nice thread. Maybe you should ask Michael Dell about sending me back my alien skull...

I got a deal... although I didn't con anyone. I bought the 799 m1530 special of 1.5GHz/1GB/160GB/8400. Days later, the 15% off coupon hit and I was able to get the same computer except upgraded to 2GB and the 8600 while adding bluetooth. The outlet computer's price was 772. I called dell after the second computer arrived to return the first one. They offered me 150 to keep the first computer.

I haven't conned Dell and have no intentions to do so. I discovered this forum when I came searching a solution for my issue. I was shocked at what I found in some of the threads. It was even more shocking to discover how people openly suggest unethical an even illegal methods to solve some problems.

Somehow I doubt you were just "wondering" and how you were "shocked" about what people do. Sounds more to me like you were looking for some ideas. Get a life and/or a job.
