Which shipping company usually ships Dell? I'm asking this cause, my laptop was shipped on Aug 25th and said est on Aug 29th. It is now Sept 10th and still no laptop. Where ever it's coming from, I don't think it would take this long to get here. I go no tracking number nor did they say who they shipped it by. And I live in Manitoba, Canada.

Ok something is amiss here....You need to contact Dell, and find out the status & get a tracking number! You should also, be sure to get a case number per the conversation sent to you by e-mail (case numbers are a logged record of the conversation and actions being taken)
If, I were you...I would do this first thing when Dell CA, opens for business tomorrow! :yes:
In Canada, doesn't Purolator deliver the Dell's?
For some reason I'm thinking it's Purolator...
In the US it's DHL (well, at least where I live)

I called Dell CA this morning and they said my order is coming from Dell US. This is normal or what? They were unable to give me a tracking number or any information, since it's coming Dell US. So yeah, I don't like the looks of this. -

I got an e-mail saying it was shipped on Aug 25th, but never provided a tracking number or anything like that. Just saying it was shipped and an est date of Aug 29th. Even when I called, they didn't know the tracking number or anything. Just saying it was shipped. So who knows when it will get here. For all I know, my 1st payment will come out and I probably still won't have it. Cause I know for a fact, it shouldn't take 2 weeks.
I just went into my e-mail saying that they shipped. I noticed the Track this shipment. So I clicked on that, and gave me an error. But all I will say is, this will be my 1st and last time ordering from Dell. -
Well, I got my laptop yesterday when I got off work lol. Go figure. The moment I say something about taking it's sweet time getting here, it will show up lol. I would have posted lastnight, but I couldn't get the internet to work on it. Then as soon as I did, I don't know what happened but my wireless router won't send any signals. So now I gotta screw around with that after work. Joy. I'm at work right now, thats why i'm typing this to give an update.

That's really odd for it to take that long. Purolator or the carrier who handled it in the States before it was given over to Purolator in Canada likely lost the package for the past 12 days or so and then all of a sudden someone tossed it back in the flow of mail.
My E6400 shipped either the 10th or 11th (Dell says 10th, Purolator says 11th) and today it entered Canada, was given over to Purolator and left Toronto, presumably to Halifax to be put on another truck bound for Sydney.
Can't wait for Monday!

I may have been saying Monday and that, but the phone call from Purolator on Friday said to expect it today. So, ordered 9/4, shipped 9/10 (though I think it was that night - I don't think it went anywhere) and arrived 9/16. Remembering that that was over a weekend, and I don't know what they do on weekends, that isn't bad for being almost a week ahead of the original ESD of 9/22.
It's awesome.
