    Hi,

I've been patient, I've been calling Dell, but my problems with the laptop are still there. I was wondering if there's chance to have a 1535 or 1537 w/o any troubles.
    I'll list mine:

    - Heatsink/fan replaced
    - Motherboard
    - Touch panel
    - Palm Rest
    - DVD drive

I still have the following "problems", whiny space bar, eject problem, keyboard sticks when playing, keyboard flex, volume up by itself randomly.

    Take care!

I helped someone order a studio back in August (I'm guessing it's a 1535) and she has had no problems with it.

I was using it the other day - I noticed the keyboard is a bit flexy but other than that the buttons work fine and no eject problems.

I got mine 1 month ago and I have no issues. I ordered it from Spain, maybe it was assembled in Ireland or Poland.

Well, I talked to a tech support from Latin America, he's telling me that the parts are going to be replaced again, all together.
Let's wait and hope everything goes well.

I've had mine since xmas and have experienced no problems not brought on by my own stupidity.

update: I turned on my laptop a few minutes ago, and got multiple beeps, like the laptop was screaming, it's really crazy. I'm thinking about selling this, Dell has to replace my laptop, I'm going crazy

My studio till now had no such problems. The fan is super quiet and the eject button was stuck only once for 10 secs a month ago and nothing since then.

May be I was lucky but the only regret I have with my laptop is I should have taken the graphics card when ordering instead of the sucky x3100.
