The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

I speak my mind without swearing and was speaking the truth about this one year warranty.

I was on the phone to dell, and I was just relaying the message, on them saying there is no such thing as a one year warranty and the guy who wrote the blog has no authority.

And my post get removed ?

    WHY?

This is a really big brother state, we cant say nothing we cant do nothing unless someone says we can. THANKS MODS

I wasn't the one who deleted it, but it does look like it was deleted as you were insulting someone else in that post.

When forum rules are not followed, yes posts can and do disappear. Usually a footnote is left, I'm not sure why it wasn't more descriptive this time.

You can do whatever the heck you want provided it is in forum rules. You follow them, we follow them, and we mod by them. That isn't big brother when the rules are fair and open.

Well, if you want to post again the useful stuff that is fine. But don't go insulting someone over it :p.

As is anyone who questions what happened on the forums.
