    Why do we outside the USA not get the 256geforce?

    im looking at getting an inspiron 9300 and on the euro site we only have the ATI 128mb X300 graphics card option on all 3 base laptop choices. no other option.


    it dosnt seem fair that we pay more for the laptop in the first place, get no coupons AND get less options.

    why is this?

    Most of the orders come through the US. I don't know why they don't offer some of the options outside the US. It would make sense because they would make more money. But hey, what do I know.

    Well, I live in a small country in Central America and we DO have the 256 MB Go 6800 option available. I find it odd that WE get the option as we're an underdevelopped country (hence poor hence don't buy laptops) and more developped countries (i.e, Australia, Sweden, others) don't have the option and people there have better capability to buy these things.

    trouble is i need the 1900 x 1200 res which i cant find on ebay along with the 256GFX card.

    well, that is your lcd. to get wuxga, you have to buy a 17" wuxga from dell parts or find it on ebay. Just think of when you hook up your crt monitor; you can only change to the resolutions that the monitor can display. that is the same for the lcd

    i know. what i meant was, i cant find a dell laptop on ebay with both the wuxga screen AND a 256GFX card.
