Some people are getting their laptops way faster than others, with the same exact specs. There's still people that have waited more than me, and I see people who just ordered their laptops 3 days ago that are typing on them right now. Not fair! :D

its the lids and the size they are in, I sorta noticed something lately, smaller the laptop and whatever undelayed color it has, the faster it goes out

I guess it takes longer to build the 1520 and 1720 laptops than the 1420

It (people getting there laptops earlier with the same specs as me even though they ordered later) used to bother me but now I just kinda say whatever and laugh it off since theres not much that you can do about. Hell, for some reason I can't even get compensation for the delays, although I haven't tried that hard but still, I still think I should get some. =S

You know, I think people think that Dell makes these laptops in the order that they receive. Because I have experience in the production industry (not laptop but it doesn't matter - they are all the same), I know that this is not true. They really just group a bunch of the computers with identical specs in the same line at the time. They begin to make them. Of course it is possible that they "run out of parts" before all laptops of those specs are made. This might explain why some people who have ordered after you get their computer before you.

I can't explain why this happens to you all of the time.

Thanks for rolling your eyes at something I posted that was SO obviously sarcastic that I might as well have put my [sacrcasm] brackets around it.
