when using core avc the usage is about 60%, btw it is on power saver if this makes any difference.

On my desktop the same file is at 25%

    file: 720p mkv

    CPu 2.2 Core 2 duo

This happened to me with Vista Business, having just wmp and 1 browser page open the CPU usage was around 60%-70% and I didn't manage to figure out what the problem was.. I put XP pro on it and now everything runs smoothly

He, in a very unclear manner, is asking why his CPU usage is so high. I think... Can you elaborate and say it in english please?

Vista uses a lot of processor usage itself... its very annoying
