Well sure enough, when I type in my tacking number I did not get next day shipping as promised yet I got ground. This is pretty frustrating for some reason. It says my laptop is in transit with an estimated delivery date of tuesday. It says the shipment was acknoledged yesterday at 12 am. As of last night at 10pm it was at a dhl hub? in atlanta and it's status was in transit. I google earth'd it and I'm only a 4 hour and 30 minute drive away from atlanta. Do you guys think I'll be able to get it tommorow or am I going to get it on my EDD? I just want my lappy for my first day of college but dell can't even keep a promise. For anybody who has gotten there shipped laptop do you think I'll get mine before 6:30 pm on monday? Thanks

Yes Next Bus Day is not the same as FedEx overnight. They take into consideration how close you are to their shipping hub. For example, I got ground shipping too after being promised NBD, and it came the next business day. So I can not fault Dell for this.

They are not lying at all, they just use DHL and FedEx's estimated delivery tools pretty well to get you your system.

At work we do a lot of shipping, and if you are shipping something that is only like 50 miles away from you, it is a waste to ship it FedEx overnight. 90% of the time ground will arrive next day anyway.

I got next day shipping as well. My order shipped today & arrived at the DHL facility in Sparks, NV today. Since today is Sunday I would assume my order would arrive Tuesday 8/21. However, according to DHL my order will not arrive untill Wednesday 8/22. Next day shipping is BS. If they promise you next day shipping it sould go next day air, not ground.

It just says next business day. If you do not get it Monday or Tuesday then *****, in the mean time just wait an extra day. It's really not a big deal.
