I tried to plug a mouse into one of the usb ports on my 9300, and it wasn't recognized. I rebooted and tried again, and even rebooted with it plugged in, and nothing worked. Am I suppose to disable the touchpad first? I looked and couldn't find an option to. I'd like to use an external mouse for games and photoshop, etc, but can't get one working. I looked in the bios to see if maybe the usb ports were (for some reason) disabled, but there were no options related to the operation of the usb ports, so I guess they are enabled full-time.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Have you tried the mouse in another computer to make sure it works?

Also, I would attempt to plug another USB-type device into the USB ports (test them all) to make sure they all work.

Alright I got it. I just plugged it in again to make sure it wasn't the mouse, and it worked. For some reason it didn't work the 5 or so times I tried earlier, but now it did.

    Thanks, Chaz.
