So I'm trying to use the "Wifi catcher" on Inspiron 1520, with QuickSet turned on,

when I use the catcher, I get no networks in the QuickSet list,

I remember it used to work when I first got it but it does not now. The thing itself seems to work when the laptop is off though.

So this is what I see in the list:

Even though there ARE networks available according to Vista's wifi manager:

I just tried updating QuickSet - no luck.

Any ideas? Is it the hardware or software?

Disable the wireless card in the device manager and then enable it and it should work
