This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     When ordering a new INspiron is either the Dell or Intel a/g Wifi better? Pros and Cons?

    I'd say the Intel is better. No real reason why I think so.

    Intel plays better with open source than Dell (Broacom) cards... The Intel cards also seem to get better reception than Broadcom stuff in my experiences...

    Yes. Intel is more compatible. Works well with Cisco Linksys routers too!
