So my new D630 finally came in a few days ago (it's great!) but I decided to format it right away to repartition the hard drive, among other things. After formatting, I used the driver discs that came with the laptop to install all the utilities and drivers I needed. Unfortunately, now the Wifi catcher no longer works. I can still turn off the card by pushing the switch back, but pushing the switch forward no longer has any effect.

In addition, when I use the buttons to change/mute the volume, a graphical display of the volume "loudness" no longer shows in the bottom of the screen.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks for the help!

Edit- Nevermind, I fixed the problem! Turns out all i had to do was reset the Wifi catcher's settings in the bios to the default. I'm not sure how the volume fixed, but I'm not complaining.
