    Wifi issues on n5110

    i have a N5110 with Intel Centrino Wireless-N1030 Half Mini-Card + BlueTooth 3.0 the wirelss signal drops and some times freezes. i tried the new driver for it still the same, are there some other settings that I should check???

    Hi,

    Please use the below mentioned link to update the latest driver for the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 card.

    Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

    After updating the driver please try the below mentioned steps.

    • Select Power Options from the Control Panel
    • Please find the power settings for wireless adapter and confirm that it is set to Maximum Performance on both Battery and the Adapter.
    • Go to Device Manager, right click on the Wireless adapter & select Properties.
    • Select the Advanced tab and Disable N mode.
    • Select the Power Management tab and remove the check mark for the option “ Allow the system to turn off this device to save power”
    • Apply the setting and try working on the wireless.
