    I just found out that my new XPS m1530 will be delivered today! :D Unfortunately I'm at work. :( My question is, since I live in an apartment complex, will DHL drop it off at the office so that I can get it when I get home? I really don't want to have to drive out to their hub to pick it up.

    Sorry, I forgot to mention that I called the apartment office and the manager said she will sign for it. Will that work? Does it have to be my signature?

    No it doesnt. Just make sure that the DHL delivery guy has your phone number in case he wants to check this is ok with you.

    If there is someone there to sign for it. You should leave a note on the door instructing them to do this. You might be able to call and arrange that, too.

    I'm guessing you need to contact DHL, not Dell for this to set up the office drop-off right? I will be in the same situation when they deliver my notebook Feb 5. I'm hoping they can give me a window when I can be home, but if not then I will also have to get it dropped off at the leasing office.

    It got dropped off alright. The nice ladies in the apt. office signed for it and even called me to let me know it was awaiting my loving arms.

    Let DHL know and let the office know and there should'nt be any problem.
