    Will Dell bios support a 160GB drive?

    Just curious if I can put a 160GB sata drive in my e1505. Thanks.

    well i think its also upto windows drivers ... so i guess so? at wost u should get 137GB's (from my ps2 has an old drivers for HD and it maxes out at 137 even if you put in a 160gig HD)

    If you can find a 160GB SATA 2.5" Hard Drive, sure it'll work in the computer.

    I thought the only 2.5" 160GB HDD's were ATA?

    You know..i cant recall bios's having problems with ever expanding drives for years now. I think they finally eaked out a standered protocal that allows BIOSs to conform to the fact that HDs will just keep getting bigger.

    Definetly not a drivers issue, hasn't been new HD drivers in years. Apparently its not needed.
