Will Dell in US ship to other countries?

I've found notebooks on the Dell US site that have better suited configs with better prices. Question is, will they ship to Australia?

 

Usually when you call them up they can customize to options not listed on your country Dell site which can be found on other Dell sites. So best is calll and configure it via the phone

They will almost certainly not ship to Australia for the following reasons . I woudl estimate shipping to australia via DHL at around 250AUD as i doubt dell would ship without insurance. fedex would be about the same and USPS will be less but i doubt dell will use them. but the big downer is that you need to pay 10% GST and 5% import TAX(or 10% i forgot).

on top of that, as i mentioned in your other thread DELL US warranty is not valid in Australia.

Are you saying that Dell in Australia can give me the same config for the same price?

 

Not necessarily for the same price but often they can get more components than those listed on their site, just ask them. I know in Belgium for example we can order a Dell with a QWERTY keyboard though this option is not available on the dell.be website... Just phone and hear

I have another quesiton in regards to the coupons. Is there somewhere I can find a list of coupons?

 

They will NOT ship anywhere else for the simple reason that each DELL unit has its own region .

DELL like any "good" company want to maximize profits but charging the most out of any area and avoiding competition .

 

Dell US only ships to US addresses, so shipping out of the country doesn't work.

 

So they won't ship outside the US, and I'm reading that Dell no longer has coupons. Kay.
