    Will Dell ship Vostros with the XP option in 2008?

    I recall reading that Dell computers would no longer have the OS XP option beginning in 2008...that Microsoft would force Vista onto everything in January. Is this correct? Any informed speculation? Thanks

    IIRC, no OEM will be selling XP after Dec 31. So yes, in 2008 it will be discontinued, but you could still buy the retail version till 2009 or 2010.
