    Will It Come By Labor Day???

    Hey all,

    My sister ordered a spring green Inspiron 1420 on July 12th. It went into boxing today. I got Dell to upgrade it to next day shipping. The website says shipping on September 5th, with a delivery date of September 6th. Obviously, that is after labor day. It needs to come before labor day so that my sister can take it with her. Do you think it will come? My 1520 came before they said it would ship. Do you think this one is possible too? The Dell CSR said the shipping people only work from Monday through Friday and not labor day, so Friday is the latest that it can be delivered. The dell CSR said it would come by Friday, but I'm not sure what to believe. Do you guys think it will? Do we have a chance?

    Oh, and the Dell CSR's name was Shibu Mathews. He was incredibly nice. I recommend him to anyone who wants a nice and helpful CSR (obviously who you get is a luck of the draw, but if you get him, stay with him).

    tough to say, I dont believe a word those dell people say anymore (I ordered mine July 9th, and will hopefully get it September 13th...Im not sure I can handle a 5th delay)

    Mine shipped on the 27th with standard shipping, and should be at my house tomorrow, so thats 5 business days from Tenessee to Montreal Canada. I think it depends on where you live, but even with next-day shipping I don't think itll be ready by tomorrow.

    Hey all,

    WE GOT IT TODAY!!! YAY!!! Thanks for all your support. I'm going home tomorrow from college and will definitely check it out and write a review for you all.

    Note: DELL upgraded me to next day shipping TWICE (for my 1520 and sis's 1420) and STUCK TO THEIR WORD. AND SO DID DHL. Congrats to both of them.
