    I really need to know, considering this is my FIRST time ever buying a laptop, and I need to make sure that it will play my SIMS 2 games. If you could answer my question ASAP that would be AWSOME!!!:)

    Yes, it can play DVDs too and burn DVDs and burn CDs.
