    I am trying to setup dual-boot. After reading this post about install XP

    You don't have flash cache, unless you installed it yourself. And the ATA setting is fine too.

    Apparantly my XP installtion disc isn't detecting my harddrive.

    That thread is full of separate little tips and hints that you'll have to figure out and put together in your head. Getting all the drivers to work on an XP install isn't hard, but there's no one simple resource that you can just read off of. You should be fine with the specified settings for FlashCache and HDD operation.
