    Will an order with “2GB RAM” come with 2 x 1GB sticks or 2 x 512GB +1GB?

    I wouldn't put it past Dell to do something sneaky like that.

    Unless specified it will be 2x1gb.
    Although 2x512 and a 1gb would be pretty nice since it means you would be able to have 3 dimms ;)

    I came in here to post what Buckeye said. Sadly there are only 2 dimms; check the online users manual (someone posted a thread about it here).

    *Edit: For clarification, this means that a 2gb system is definitely 2x1gb.

    it is always 2x1GB unless identified otherwise. it is better like this as you can acheive dual shared configurations which means that the ram can run more faster and efficiently. :)
