It's time to buy a new notebook. My current laptop is Sony VAIO with Xbright screen (the glossy screen). I would like to switch to Dell/HP. However, after visiting Bestbuy today I found that Dell/HP (truelife/brightview) screen is somewhat less vivid than what I have.

In SONY VAIO, there are 2 type of Xbrite LCD:

    1. Regular XBrite (this is what I have) -- people says it uses 2 bulbs.
Which is clearer, higher contrast, the grass will look greener, color is more vivid when viewing using this type.

    2. Xbrite-ECO -- people says it uses 1 bulb.
It's also glossy screen, but the contrast is not that good as if there is another layer on the screen --> and this is what I found on Dell/HP.

In SONY they tell buyer whether they'll get XBrite or Xbrite-ECO. In Dell/HP, it just says Truelife/Brightview. I don't want to get screen with 1 bulb (ECO).

Can somebody help which Dell/HP notebook has 2 bulb screen?
