    Does anyone here know whether intel 4965AGN wifi work in dell laptop with ATI chipset (x1250)? Currently the notebook has dell 1505 ( aka broadcom wilreless N).

    No reason why it shouldn't work unless the dimensions cause the card to not fit. Though you really should do additional research beforehand.

    OEMs like HP put a whitelist of wireless cards via the BIOS.

    You will need to deeper research for your specific model just incase Dell did this aswell.
