Will it ship out today?

My order has been in the "boxing stage" since 7/31 and the estimated ship date is 8/2, which is today. What are the chances it ships out today?

Mine also hit the boxing stage early morning on the 31st, and I'm hoping it ships out today, so that I can get it this week. If it doesnt ship out today.. I have to wait til next week which, since I've technically been waiting since the 8th of July, is just too long for me.

I just called Dell and they told me that my shipping date has been moved to 8/9. Sucks because I called yesterday and they told me that there was no delay. I got $75 out of it though. It's in the boxing stage so it should ship out early next week if not tomorrow.

 

So they delayed your order while you were in the boxing stage? I highly doubt itll ship on the 9th, since you are in the boxing I would bet it would ship out sometime in the next few days, I myself am still currently in the boxing stage and myestimated ship date is the 13th, but being in the boxing stage means your laptop is completly assembled and its just a matter of days before they send it out. Since we have both been in boxing for two days, I wouldnt be surprised to see both of our orders ship out this wekeend, if dell ships it out on weekends (although it wouldnt actually go anywhere until monday)

Although I must say im upset, on my last order, I never received any compensation and I had it delayed twice.

 

Seems like you have to demand compensation.

 

Trust me, I tried, Multiple emails, chats, and phone calls later, I simply had to give up and reorder.

 

It's not hard to get at least $50 credit for your frustrations.

 

My new PC went into boxing on July 31st and shipped out today which was the estimated ship date. Should be delivered tomorrow from FedEx.

SWEET, my order shipped, it remains to be seen if I actually received Next Business Day shipping as 4 Dell reps assured me I had, and was listed in my order status page. However, I am waiting on a tracking number and my Order Status page shows conflicting information as it tells me my shipping method is Next Business day while the estimated delivery date by dell is mid next week.

I would have taken my unit being shipped today, over my additional discount for the 2nd delay.

Ok, I just checked the status again on the website and it says it's shipped, but expected delivery says 8/7-8/9. WTF??? I have next business day and says shipped on 8/2!!!!

 

There is a thing called DHL Express Ground ... and DHL Ground.... My laptop shipped through DHL Express Ground but still gave an estimate of 3-5 days after my laptop shipped. My lo-jack shipped through DHL Ground...

If DHL Express Ground = next day, then I should have mine tomorrow.

 

I am already in the boxing stage and I just ordered my Vostro 1500 on 7/31! I am excited.

 

Im in the exact same position as you Matsuya, Says Next Business Day for shipping method, whereas the estimated ship date is the 7th to the 9th... im just waiting for my tracking numbers.. hopefully it actually gets in the carriers hands tonight so It will be in mien tomorrow.

K, I just went on Dell Chat and they have the Fed-Ex tracking number, which isn't available yet on their website. It'll be delivered tomorrow. Wow, they got the shipping date and delivery date right on the money.
