Just wondering if the Studio 15 or Studio 17 will be able to drive a 30" monitor with 2560x1600 resolution?

The HDMI and VGA graphics adapters on the Dell Studio laptops are limited to 1920x1200.

In order to drive that kind of resolution, you need a laptop with dual-link DVI.
