    Will the T7250 CPU in a Inspiron 1525 work in the Inspiron 15N?

    My dad's laptop is the INspiron 1525 and he rarely uses it, so i'm thinking about switching our processors. The Inspiron 15N has a Celeron 585 processor.

    It should,as they are both Socket P's. I dont see why it cant work, unless the BIOS somehow doesnt recognize it.

    Run CPU-z on both machines and confirm the chipsets. Also make sure you update the BIOS to the latest version to increase compatibility.
