Just as the title states. Dell has not given me a straight answer. When I asked in their support they said and I quote.

"We do offer upgrade packages, for windows 7 if you would like to do that it is very easy to do. I can help you with that now"

However He didn't answer my question after asking twice he gave me similar replies.

I have Hardware warranty and currently my pc is having a few hardware issues.

Would It void my warranty if I send it in with windows 7 ?

The simple answer is NO it will NOT VOID your hardware warranty.

They won't provide support software support if you install a different OS other that what shipped with your computer.

Rodknee is correct on both counts if you don't purchase it from Dell.

Of course not, since Windows 7 is like 95% Windows Vista anyways, just consider Windows 7, like a big Service Pack or Patch for Windows Vista.

It will be written 1yr or 2y "limited Hardware Warranty".ur warranty has got nothing to do with the software in ur system.
So it will surely not void ur warranty
