    Windows 7 Upgrade problem

    I am trying to register for Windows 7 upgrade.
    I purchased the machine on 26-June. But after entering service tag and pressing validate, its stuck in validation.

    Anybody tried and succeeded. BTW I am using some other m/c for registration not the Dell which I purchased, is there any problem with that ?

    It worked fine for me, though I was informed that I'm not eligible for the upgrade as I got my refurbished E4300 latitude on June 26th. To be eligible, I should have bought it on or later than June 29th.

    Hi there I bought a brand new (direct from the dell website) Inspiron 1545 on the 26th June however when i try to register for the Upgrade program i am not eligable. Am i missing something? Thanks

    call them up, otherwise if it doesnt work, return and reorder.
