Has anyone done it yet? I just picked up a copy of home permium and I am debating between 32bit and 64bit.

Dell's webpage does not list the 1535 as one of the compatible systems. Has anyone does it yet? Any major issues with drivers and the 64bit version?

From what I understand the 64bit version will require a HDD format because I am currently running vista 32bit. Can anyone confirm that?

    Thanks!

Go for 64 bit, and yes you will need to reformat and do a clean install. It doesn't matter that it's not on Dell's list; Vista 64-bit drivers will work just fine with Windows 7 64-bit.

I have a 1537 which is similar to the 1535 hardware wise. Windows 7 detected most hardware automatically except for the Richo Card reader and fingerprint reader. I installed ATI's Catalyst 9.10 via Mobility Modder. Everything else seems to be working right out the box.
