I found a really cool skin w/ Windows Blind that actually simulates the transparency of Vista. However, ever since I re-installed XP, I've been unable to get a working properly. Every time I start it, my computer freezes. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

I use to have this crappy software on my laptop...
UNINSTALL IT!
LEAVE IT UNINSTALLED!
If you want Vista look,,,,DOWNLOAD "Vista Transformation Pack"
Its a XP theme replacement, so it wont take any additional memory then it should with bare XP.. -
I use Windowsblind5 on my m1210 and it works amazingly. Never had any startup problems, system freezes, or even instances of performance degredation. Maybe you can try reinstalling if you haven't? Or try posting in the XP theming thread in the software forum to get some more feedback. It probably isn't a problem with your system if it works on my m1210..

Where can I get it from? -
Yes, I did re-install it several times, but it doesn't seem to help. I could start Win Blinds, but when I try to change a theme, the computer freezes and I have to start in Safe Mode to change the theme back. Also, I tried the Vista Transformation Pack, and although it works and doesn't take a lot of memory, Windows Blind look a lot better. Actually, when I get Win Blinds working, I plan to install both of them, using Win Blinds transparency feature and Vista Transformation Packs docks, folders, etc. I had all of these working before I re-installed Windows

You need to make sure that Your windows is a clean reinstallation version. NOT the windows version of Dell. The Bloatware or some random software gets conflicts with windows blinds so it freezes up the system. Sometimes, windows blinds might take some time to load after you install and restart your computer.
Another way to fix is:
make sure your version of Windows Blinds is a working one. I recommend a real version to make it work properly, trial version sometimes doesn't work well.
After you remove windows blinds, make sure you delete the Stadock or Wincustomize in program files too.
Run a regscrub registry fix. (i think mostly WB crash bc of registry and conflict files)
Reinstall ur WB after you restart the computer in ANOTHER FOLDER not in original one.
- Another quicker way is reformat ur windows and install windows blinds back.
EDIT: Just reread your post above, Vista transformation pack and WB might get conflict. try to use Iconpakager, Object Dock, to change other feature of your skin.
MIne works fine with Iconpackager, Object Dock, WB5, Yahoo WIdgets.

Some other random screen shots, i often change my skin and wallpaper but i don't have time to take some screen shots.
