Im not sure if this is the right place to post but I went by a Dell Kiosk the other day and I tested out the e1505 as well as the e1705.

The e1505 was has regular XP while the e1705 was using the MCE. I noticed that the MCE Graphical Interface for the e1705 was kind of different.

It looked more, "futuristic" I guess. The startmenu, toolbars, ect. looked more shinier and more touched up if anything.

My question, anyone know what I am talking about?

its because the MCE uses the newer "luna" theme than the standared XP.

Actually MCE uses the "Royale" theme which can just be downloaded from the MS site and used on plain ond XP, it's no big deal.

its just a new theme that MCE gets, however you can also choose the other 3 themes that come with regular XP, as well as choose the classic Win 9x style to get better color customization
