Anyone have any idea when Dell will pre-load Vista on the laptops instead of offering the upgrade???? I would much prefer it came loaded then ahving to install it myself. Thanks in advance.

They already do. If you custom-configure I believe it's the pre-chosen option, but you can pick (at least on business models) XP as well. As for the stock, ready-to-ship models: some may still be sealed in their box from before Vista's official launch date and as such do not have vista installed.

If it says "Free upgrade" it will come pre-installed.
EDIT: In fact any OS you request will come pre-installed.
