Just for information. I bought an I9300 about a month ago and I did not buy the windows install DVD at the time, the one they want $10 for. I decided that I did want it and called Dell to order it. Dell sent me the DVD at no charge. So if you are considering a purchase you may be able to save yourself $10 by waiting on getting the disc till a little later.

Yeah, same thing happened to me 5 months ago with my 700m. I didn't order the WinXP and drivers CD's but later decided I wanted them. I sent a couple of emails, and they offered to ship the CD's to me for free. I didn't even have to go through the ordeal of calling them!

Yeah, I got my disc before they started charging for them, but I had to argue for them anyway. The consumer is ruler of the marketplace.
