    Windows log on screen black stripe(s)

    When I boot the system and it finally goes to the windows logo, immediately after that when the windows user log on screen loads sometimes I see random black stripes on the log on screen briefly before i goes away. does anyone else have this issue?

    I have a m1530 and i didn't have those when i first got it. It started happening for about a month or so then it went back to normal. I'm just glad nothing broke when it happened to me.

    If that doesn't help, try updating your video card drivers(read the stickies in the gaming section of the forum on how to update your drivers)

    this has been happening on my xps m1530 also i've even had dell swap my mobo to try to fix the problem ><

    thats a little extreme... u had them replace a mobo because of the stripes? for me it doesnt really do anything except annoy me... did u have some sorta hardware issue that this was a symptom of ?
