    my dad's laptop has a mobile wireless broadband card that he can plug into his work computer....his work pays for it...im wondering if i install the software is there anywhere that card can plug in on the xps 1530? his work pays the internet on it and i would like to have internet at school and in the car etc....just wondering if it could work?

    (i dont have my xps yet, thats why im asking. if i had it i wouldnt be asking this cuz i would see the slot)

    Is just a standard PCMCIA, Cardbus or ExpressCard device? Then I should think so, yes.

    XPS uses an ExpressCard so if your dad uses same then you should be able too also. There's also a USB adapter. Unless his company is using a WWLAN card that's built-in in his laptop. Depends on what the broadband company provided.
