Hi all, sorry in advance for what I'm sure is a rookie question...
My father has one of the Dell mini laptops. He is in the hospital at the moment, and I'm wondering what kind of card/fob etc., if anything, is available to allow him to have wireless access (like 3G) to internet?
The hospital doesn't have any wireless available, nor do there appear to be any 'hotspots' accessable from the hospital, so looking for what I'd need to access a local internet service etc? I'm in Nova Scotia..
Thanks for any help!!!

You can buy a USB Modem, that can connect to your Mobile Phone Provider.

+1 Depending on your provider, you can either get a USB, or a Express/PCMCIA card that would go in your machine and you can go online. If the laptop has bluetooth, you can sometimes teather the phone to the laptop and create a wireless link.
Keep in mind both need to have data enabled and a plan. You possibly could get data only, but thats up the carrier.
If you don't buy the plan and go with per KB or MB you will series get hurt in fees.
Wireless Internet Card??
