Hey guys. I had my dell e1705 for a long time now, pretty pleased with it. I just reformated, and I've been having this weird problem.

Everytime I boot up, after logging in, it takes a good 3 mins until I can actually do something. I figure this is my wireless card because once that boots up, everything runs fine. And the other issue is; I cannot log into any routers, nor can it find a router. I have to uninstall, then reinstall the drivers for it to actually work.

I have the Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card.

    Please help!
    Thank you,

Wait, are you saying that reinstallation of the drivers fixes it? Then what problem are you having? If it is not finding any routers, I have to go over the most common problems first...though they are quite obvious.

    -Is your wireless turned on?
-Do you have any settings which filter out certain networks, or prevent you form seeing them?
    -Firewalls?
-Could be some sort of hardware failure.

Though you probably already thought of these, they are the only reasons I can think of.
