I have a Dell inspiron 630m. I got the dnschanger trojan last week. After multiple tries to remove it, I decided to reload XP Pro. The only XP Pro disk our office had was the first version which would not work on my machine so I created a slipstream with XP Pro SP 2. Worked like a charm. I downloaded all the updated drivers from Dell. When reinstalling all the drivers, I noticed I no longer have a wireless or wired NIC. It does not show up in the Device Manager at all. I reseated the wireless nic and still got nothing. I also do not have any unknown devices showing.

Any suggestions on bringing back these two components. It's driving me crazy using the usb wireless. :)

I would make sure that the NIC is enabled in the BIOS, and make sure that you have installed the Dell Notebook system software and Chipset
