I just got my Vostro 1500 last week. Is the wireless set up ready to go or does it need some configuration? In other words, if I got to Startbucks, etc that have wireless connection should it be straight forward.

At home I have been using an aircard from Sprint for about a year, so haven't really played around with this type of connection

If it is an open connection, you can connect to it. If it is protected, then you need the correct key codes.
