    Wireless slow

    Well i had to use restore ot go to the way my laptop came from the factory and now my conection seems to be unstable, by this i mean the sighnal is unconsistent. Do i need to install any drivers? If so can u show me wat ones?

    I'm sure it is a driver issue. If you head to this link, you should be able to enter in your service tag number (on the bottom of your unit) and call up all the drivers you would need.

    My D820 had much slower access than my HP NC8430.
    No matter where I am in the hosue now, I get excellent maximum reception.

    That should be it Saleen. Your drivers need to be updated. If you restored the notebook to factory settings, the drivers are probably outdated I would assume. Especially if it was working fine (stable) before you did restored the HDD image.

    Ok thanks it wouldnt hurt it if i already had it it would it? The notebook was ordered in late nov and i got it for christmas so it wouldnt have that driver in it right?

    The driver release, from the link you posted, says 11/15/2006. If your laptop was ordered late November, that's very close. Dell might not have updated it yet. I don't think they did. So to be sure, you have to update it yourself.

    You shoudl go through the lsit fo drivers, and download them and re-install tem.
    To make sure you are up to date.
