    I see two wires coming out of the ethernet plug inside the laptop that are not plugged into anything ,on my Dell Latitude E6510, can anyone explain this? Are they antennae?

    Any chance that you can manage to make a reasonable photo to illustrate this (I know from experience that close-up photos are difficult)?

    Here's a photo of the network port in my E7450. You can see 8 metal contacts. Are two of these loose?
