    Hellooo,
I have a new replacement coming in next week for my 1520... On my original purchase, I chose to get an extra battery and some software and it also came with an earbud... I checked the status of the replacement and lo and behold, it's also coming with an extra battery and software and earbud. Now, when I return my original 1520 back to dell, do i have to give EVERYTHING back!? Or can i keep the battery and stuff?
    Thanks!!

You have to give everything back. Dell won't let you sneak a battery.

You have to return whatever it says on your replacement order, which should match your original order, but may not.

For example, in my replacement order, I did not receive the USB modem. So I kept my original and did not send one back. Conveniently, the rep had forgotten to add it to the replacement order (which was why they never shipped the modem), so I knew I'd have no trouble, though I did mention it to the rep, just in case.

In your case, if you keep the spare battery, you will likely be charged whatever Dell decides is the cost of the battery. Dell only included the spare because they simply duplicated the original order. So keep whichever spare you want and return the other.

thank a lot. I recently request a replacement for my M1330 due to CPU whine. and I have no idea what I need to send back. so now I know I need to return everything. I thought I can keep it until the new one comes, but the electronic UPS Return Label is only available for 10 days. I thought I saw someone said something about I can keep it while I am waiting for the replacement to come.

You can and should keep it until the replacement arrives. From there, you get about 2 weeks to devide which you want to keep. Dont worry about the label. They can send you another.
