I am an oncologist in training and rotate thru a veterns hospital. I am not employed by them. Anyway I found a VA canteen coupon code for 10 percent off. I call the number listed and priced out a system. It was still too expensive and I mentioned the 750 dollar coupon. The lady said that was home only but to hold on. She went and found some coupon and took 750 off the price. Not to mention I get 50 more off from the price above by using DPA.

Thats all. sorry to entice with the word "tricks"

I understand the t2500 processor has increased in price this week, but you guys dont mention that the faster RAM and 7200 100gb HD dropped in price. I think that cancelled out the more money I spent on the processor. Bottem line is you never now what next week, better tomorrow, will bring. Get em will you can.

Get the bare minimum amount of RAM from Dell and then upgrade from newegg.com--this "trick' will save you a lot of money. :)

I'd drop the ram and HD upgrades too, especially since right now the free upgrade is to a 100gb 5400rpm.. If it were me, I'd stick that one on ebay and buy a 100gb 7200 from newegg, along with ram.

Or you can wait until they change the free upgrade to something else you'd actually use.. Seems a decent price, but maybe a tad high.. they did up prices this week though on most everything I think.. Thats why I'm still waiting ..
