    WoW Dell can't even find my order?

    Order my laptop on Nov1 just call now to see to see the order status and see if I can make some changes to my order.

    Surprise frist person I spoke to said he is only a swtich board and trasnfer me to the right dept. Got put on hold for like 30mins hung up.

    Call 2nd time the person on the phone can't even locate my order! LOL I give him my order number, Customer number, address name and he can't find a thing? I even told him I got the confirm E-mail already and I can check the status of the order just fine with it. He claims he can't see anything about me.

    Basically I told the guy I want to cancle the order then, why bother if they can't even locate one cusotmer in theri system. Is not that hard isn't. We triple check the Order number and all info still no go.

    He give me some BS saying he is fromt he statates and I order it form Canada so he can't look it up.......
    Anyways anyone on here from dell can help me cancel the order? I already wasted over an hour on the phone with them and I don't want to do it again with the same thing. What's more funny is that the phone the rep I talk to on the states give me is the exact one I call before (the one claims he is only a swtich board).

    Seriously that is just bad they can't even locate my account LOL.

    This can actually not be some BS. I had some grunts at HP transfer me to the US customer service only to explain my situation to the guy and then have him tell me that he can't help me with my issue because i'm in Canada and i got transfered to a US rep. It's quite possible that he actually can't look it up because he doesn't have access to that info since he's in the US and you need to talk to a Canadian rep.

    The first guy you talked to dropped the ball for sure though.

    You could always try the French customer service if you speak French or sometimes, someone over there actually speaks english too.

    Which phone number did you try by the way?

    I try 18003875752 that's the phone number I call frist
    and then I try 18003875752. I am 90% the 2nd call got routed to Inda lol. I just casually ask how's the weather in seatle and he told me is sunny. Then I said I am in seatle now and there is a storm going on. He was shock for a sec LOL
    I can understand if he can't cancel my oder but I sure expect they can look up my order for sure with any number I call them.

    What if I have an issue and needed tech support (most likey wont coz I work in the field) but more like hardware issue or warrantly issue. It makes me feel they will just try to bounce me around, just keep transfering me around to different dept till I give up.

    This never happen with any of my apple products. I have to say yes Apple is overprice but their hassle free tech support and customer service is something I am willing to pay the extra money for.

    Well, I just tried entering my order # on the US site and it returns nothing which leads me to believe that Canada and the US are on two separate systems which would explain why someone from the US can't do anything. However, the fact that you got transfered around and especially to customer service not in your country isn't acceptable.

    Thsi si the 2nd time I deal with Dell... Fris ttime I order an alienware and same thing happen...... I got toss around. It was actually funny the monent I told the rep I already file with my CC compnay to cancel the payment and I will not evne sign for the laptop even if it arrives I got a call back from a manager within 20mins and she is able to look up my order and see exactly it went. But it was too late by then since I made my mind to cancel.
    This time is the same thing. I though dell whould change their system but I guess not. I want to give them my business but it seems like thier customer service said otherwise. Is sad to see this happen since dell use to be really good now they just stuck LOL.
    No wonder they are losing market share while other manfactures are growing.
