Just like title says. You guys think this setup is worth buying, or should I wait for the new quad cores to come out this 3rd quarter which is what I thought I'd heard?

I hear they are going to be cheap, but will they be THAT cheap. Oh also I realize it only has on board graphics, I have a decent card to put in it and 4gb ram to trade for the 3gb ram. :)

    I'd be upgrading from a core2duo e4400 @ 2.0ghz.

The nellhalm seems to be worth the wait since they are roughly 15-30% faster!

Well I have an 8800GTS to slap into it, so the gpu isn't really a concern. Just more focused on the processor atm.

My laptop does everything I want it too. I was playing Tiger Woods 08 on Maximum settings last night, and I paused to remind myself how much I love my laptop :-D

That's sorta why I figure Dell is offering the last minute price kill on those 530s.

They are phasing out the XPS desktops to push the Alienware lineup for gamers. But that is an incredible price for what you are getting there.
