A while ago I ordered a vostro 1400 for 739 + Tax. It was the 2GB, 8400 etc, with a 9 cell. Its going to finally arrive tomorrow. So a few days ago I see the 1500 I can get for the same exact price, but with an 8600, and a webcam. I chose the 1400 mostly because I didn't think I would be gaming that much anymore but this seems like such a better deal. One big question I have though, is how much larger is the 1500. This is going to be going with me to school a lot. So size is important, important enough to make me keep the 1400.
Any suggestions? I would really like something to play Starcraft 2 fluently at high settings when it comes out... then again if I call and request a return and they offer me some money off, maybe i'll just settle with that.

I can't stand 15" machines but like my 14"
Go to a local store and check out the 14 and 15 inch ones side by side, that's what made me change my mind away from the 15 I was going to get originally. -
I have a 1400 and I love the size of it. I played games like A.A. and F.E.A.R. and it plays them great. I recommend you stay with the 1400 if you want to be more mobile. other than the screen size, the only other difference is the video card.
Don't underestimate the 1400's video card power though.
Worth it to re order?
