It depends what you do. I would go for the Latitude for just about every application except hi-fi screen needs for graphic design. Just my two cents.
You will see a huge speed jump from the macbook spinner disk to the ssd in the latitude.

Alot will depends on what will you be using the laptop for if it is mainly for PC software then go with the PC laptop but it will really depend on your usage and what your plans for it are. So what you asking is too general of a question that will get more confusing replies then would be of help to you.

They are kind of Apples and Oranges. So yes, depends on how you use them. It also depends on if you have backups, i.e. other computers.
This may help. I have a ten inch Android tablet. I love it for email, casual web browsing, and some misc apps like Reddit. But the tablet is not good for doing a lot of typing, or anything serrious, like office apps. It can do them,,just not the best. -
Also, the Latitude 10 doesn't use a SSD, it uses eMMC which is slower, still decent speeds, but much slower than a true SSD. Sequentials are a tad below a good 7200 RPM drive, randoms are faster. The Wacom digitizer on the Latitude 10 is pretty neat. However, an atom tablet, in my opinion is a companion device and not a primary one. I have a Thinkpad Tablet 2 (same specs at the Latitude 10) and I'd never use it as my primary computer, I'd go nuts within a day, just saying.katalin_2003 likes this. -
Okay I've decided to keep my macbook for now. That's for all the help guys!

You made the right choice. That MacBook is easily and cheaply upgradeable to 8GB of RAM and a decent sized SSD. That Latitude 10 has all components soldered so you can't do much. If you are willing to toss a small amount of money it'll pay you back in years of good, reliable service.
Worthy trade?
